Day 226 – 365 / August 14th 2015

I had cause to visit my church today. Unusually, today’s trip to Valley Parade wasn’t part of my spiritual devotion but, instead, was business. I was dropping off some graphic panels I had been commissioned to produce.

As luck would have it, shortly before setting off, I saw a tweet from the club shop advising of two new retro tops that had just taken delivery of. So, armed with my wallet, I popped into the shop.

As I couldn’t decide between the two two shirts available, I decided to get them both. So here you have the 1960 replica shirt on the left and the jersey the team wore between 1978-1981; 1980/81 was, incidentally, the time that I started following City.
