Day 241 – 365 / August 29th 2015

The August Bank Holiday weekend has, for the last few years, heralded a four day “jigsaw festival” in Brighouse.

Yes, like you, I was initially scathing. “A jigsaw festival! Lots of jigsaws for sale in the local church?! Madness!”

And so, I did not attend that first year. However, having gone along to see what it was in the second year, i was hooked and have been going since. They have all manner of jigsaws fully completed and presented on boards and they are all available to buy. It is quite a pleasure looking around.

Todays’ image is of a jigsaw that took my eye mainly for the claret and amber colours.

Oh, they also do a cracking all day breakfast and afternoon teas.
