Day 215 – 365 / August 3rd 2015

I was given a balloon last Saturday. Well, it was my birthday.

Today, nine days on, it is still in our house and just about hanging in in there. We have been using the balloon to entertain Elphie The Mini Schnauzer Puppy by pulling the string down just low enough for Elphie to grab on to with her mouth. She then drags the balloon around for a short while before letting go. We then pull it down again, she grabs its and so on and so on.

Today’s picture shows the balloon eagerly (!) awaiting its next play date with the mutt.

I’m a tad unsure who gets more enjoyment out of the whole escapade although, if I’m honest, I’d say it is us and not the dog.
