Day 114 – 365 / April 24th 2015
We were in Bradford city centre this evening to “The 56”, a play about the Bradford City fire. Emotional and powerful, the play moved me to tears as I expected it would.
Whilst making our way from the car to the theatre we used the underpass at Jacobs Well roundabout to navigate the busy road. The underpass, every wall of its entrances, has been decorated with these large and colourful artworks. It is truly a wonderful sight to see. Another reminder of the hidden sides to our cities that many of us don’t get to witness.
The murals were a joyous addition to an emotional night.
