Day 79/365
Six and a half eggs today from our ladies. Well. Six normal sized and one small egg.
Day 78/365
Elphie The Mini Schnauzer Puppy in full “I’m tired, daddy” mode.
Day 77/365
Some new additions to my Billingham camera bag were added today.
Day 76/365
It snowed again late this afternoon and into the night. Elphie is poking her head through the curtains and blinds keeping a watchful eye on it.
Day 75/365
I was mooching around the bookshelves in the room at Halifax’s new library where we meet for our writers group and came across this intriguingly tilted volume. It was locked inside a glass case.
Day 74/365
Today I oversaw the fitting of the stairs and hallway carpet at Bethany and Liam’s. The finished article really complements and sets of their hard work over recent weeks.
Day 73/365
A pre-match meal and pint with Bethany and Liam. Actually, this pint of Saltaire Onyx was supped while I waited for them to arrive!
Day 72/365 (2018)
This is one of the gates at the entrance to Paddington Cemetery and is where my uncle was laid to rest in 1946.
Day 71/365 (2018)
Today we paid a visit to the grave of my uncle, Charles Geoffrey Dimmock. Charles died in April 1946 at a little under one year of age and, obviously, I never met him. Just before Christmas 2017, my wife and I contacted Brent council to enquire if they could help us to locate his grave….
Day 70/365 (2018)
C2C’s final day. Sadly. But, what a terrific day. First up were Midland. They are brilliant. This is the bass player wigging out during their set. The concert ended with a blistering performance from Little Big Town. They brought the house down. Roll on C2C 2019. Tickets go on sale on Friday. I will be…
Day 69/365 (2018)
Day 2 of C2C. And what a belting day it has been! Plenty of great music, behind the music chats and intimate performances follow by a sensational, show stopping set by Sugarland. What entertainers Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are! They had the whole arena rocking. A fabulous set from them.
Day 68/365 (2018)
Today is the start of the Country 2 Country music festival at London’s O2 Arena. First up on the main stage was one of my current favourites, Old Dominion. If you haven’t heard them yet, give them a go. You will like them. I promise.
Day 67/356 (2018)
A long standing project for one of my oldest clients came to fruition today. This is a 28 page brochure which I designed and had printed for them. The client was very happy with the finished item. As was I.
