Day 339 – 365

Day 339 – 365 / December 5th 2015 This isn’t cheap brothel in Amsterdam’s red light district but is, instead, a few of my CD’s in an old IKEA Billy bookcase illuminated by a string of battery operated fairy lights. Having said that, the lights were cheap at only £1.00 from Poundland.

Day 338 – 365

Day 338 – 365 / December 4th 2015 Another smashing post bag today. This time it is a copy of “Missing Presumed” by Susie Steiner I have already started reading this novel and am gripped.

Day 337 – 365

Day 337 – 365 / December 3rd 2015 One of my Twitter friends tweeted that he hadn’t seen any two pence pieces for a while and wondered where they all were. I sent him this image of the ones I have in my little store of coppers.

LR#33: “Behind Closed Doors” by B.A. Paris

***I received a free copy of this book from www.LoveReading.co.uk and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review** “Behind Closed Doors” by B.A. Paris Can the perfect couple with the beautiful home and ideal life really be true? I finished my previous read twelve days ago and immediately turned to this book as, enticed by the synopsis,…

Day 336 – 365

Day 336 – 365 / December 2nd 2015 Another post delivery and another book. I am keen to read this one, it sounds great, but I will have to wait as I have several to read before it. Plus, I have let it straight away to Bethany for her to take on holiday at the end of…

Day 335 – 365

Day 335 – 365 / December 1st 2015 A very snoozy Maggie The Mini Schnauzer relaxes.

Day 334 – 365

Day 334 – 365 / November 30th 2015 One of the best things that you can buy at IKEA. Here are a dozen packets of their almond pastry confections – SÖTSAK DAMMSUGARE. Very tasty.

Day 333 – 365

Day 333 – 365 / November 29th 2015 A spooky shot of the cemetery in which we walk the mutts each day. Lovely in the daylight but menacing as darkness falls.

Day 332 – 365

Day 332 – 365 / November 28th 2015  Recall an image from a few days ago? Well, the sis my finished hat stand. As suggested, I have decorated the rear of the panel with a montage of pages from and old, duplicate, Rupert Bear annual I had. I think it looks rather fine in its new home…

Day 331 – 365

Day 331 – 365 / November 27th 2015 This is my “Bat Belt”. It is a rigid canvas belt with various pockets and compartments in which I put my squeegees, Chinagraph pencils, tape measures and whatnots. Through previous painful experience, I keep one pocket lined with an old cigar case into which my scalp goes. the tin…

Day 330 – 365

Day 330 – 365 / November 26th 2015 Another night at Valley Parade. Not for a match but, instead, for the launch of a new book of photographs that document our incredible season from 2012-2013. “Dare To Dream” is the title of the book. Surprisingly for me, I hadn’t paid much attention to the launch ahead of…

Day 329 – 365

Day 329 – 365 / November 25th 2015 A close up of graphics which I applied to a mini bus today.

Day 328 – 365

Day 328 – 365 / November 24th 2015 Home versus Coventry City, league leaders in League One, and the City players do their last minute warm up sprints before kick off. A highly entertaining match with both teams looking classy and attack minded. A 0-0 draw does not really do justice to a very good game.

Day 327 – 365

Day 327 – 365 / November 23rd 2015 The lovely Nicole on the front page as she attends an awards ceremony in London. Her work in “Photograph 51” earned her praise.
